Finca San Martin Rioja Crianza

2017 saw an April frost that greatly reduced the production in Torre de Ona. However as a result of Finca Martello not being made that year the quality of grapes that went into the Crianza rose significantly. This is a smooth very high quality Crianza at fantastic value for money.

60% of the wine is aged in new American oak and 40% is aged in second use French oak for a period of 16 months.

Tasting Notes: Nose: Intense aromas of ripe red and black fruit mingle with cocoa, coffee cinnamon, and vanilla notes.

Palate: The palate is dominated by a powerful fruit character. Ripe juicy tannins are balanced by a clean, natural acidity. The finish has outstanding length and is incredibly smooth.

Style: Medium Bodied

Food Pairing: Pairs very well with a wide array of meat and fish dishes. It works very well with roast vegetables.
