Monrouby Syrah/Carignan IGP Pays d’Oc
Monrouby is a small village in the Languedoc, close to Pomérols, which is where the Baron de Badassière and the Vignes de l’Eglise wines are made. Winemaker Graeme Paul was impressed with the fruit from this village in 2011, so decided from then on to vinify several varieties separately.

Tasting Notes: This blend of Syrah and Carignan has lovely ripe fruit balanced by livelyacidity. It has a beautiful deep, dark red colour. Aromas of blackberries, soft red plum fruits and a touch of spice are followed by supple tannins
and crisp acidity.
