Founded in 1968, Vina Costeira is one of the largest wine producers in the Galicia region. With 60 hectares of vineyards, unique wines are produced from native grape varieties godello, treixadura, albariño, sousón and mencia. Maintaining traditions is an important pillar for this wine estate and goes hand in hand with the use of modern production methods.
The albariño is definitely the most important grape in the Rías Baixas DO wine region. The special terroir with a soil of crumbled granite, regular rainfall and the proximity to the Atlantic Ocean, fully emphasizes the pure expression of the grape.
