Tasting Notes: Powerful and severe spicy nose. It almost feels like this wine originates from a limestone vineyard. It takes a long time for the aromas to develop revealing bacon, smoke, pepper… Some floral character will certainly open up as the wine ages, but it will take time. The palate feels very dry. There is a strong presence of tannins in this wine as well, giving an almost red wine structure. The finish becomes gradually more gentle and velvety.
