Domaine Matrot is one of the oldest estate-bottlers in Burgundy and one of the largest and most important properties in Meursault. Owned by Thierry Matrot and his wife Pascale the domaine has some of the finest vineyards in the heart of Burgundy. The average age of the vines is an impressive 30+ years and have been farmed organically since 2000.

All the wines have been 100% estate bottled at the domaine since Thierry’s grandfather, Joseph Matrot, took it over in 1908. Today, Thierry partners in the business and winemaking of the domaine with his two daughters, Adèle and Elsa.

A glorious white Burgundy from Meursault, the wines of which offer “a meeting of softness and succulence with thirst-quenching clarity and cut” (Hugh Johnson). From a top year and family estate, it brings you intense fruit purity and complexity.
