Tasting Notes: This famous Italian wine is called after the town in the southeast part of Piedmont (Gavi) and it is made in the typical dry style. It shows a delicate aroma of ripe peach and pear with hints of citrus fruits and a slight honeyed edge held together by steely minerality and a tingly acidity. Is is considered as the Chablis of Italy, due to their mouth-zapping refreshing acidity.
